TO ENDORSE JAMIE JOHANSSON FOR ASSEMBLY!

“Jamie Johansson is uniquely qualified to serve as an assemblyman. I first met Jamie when he was on Oroville City Council and I worked alongside him at California Farm Bureau as he fought tirelessly for farmers, property owners, and working families. He understands the challenges facing Northern California and will be a strong voice for common-sense policies that protect our livelihoods and way of life.”

- Congressman Tom McClintock (R)

Representing California's 5th District

“I’ve known Jamie Johansson since his Oroville City Council days. He has been fighting for farmers and rural California for decades. Jamie has taken our fight to Sacramento and Washington, D.C.—from water, to burdensome regulations, to securing support for our rural schools. Jamie served as California Farm Bureau’s President/CEO and during his tenure, was elected to the Executive Committee of the American Farm Bureau, overseeing the Western Caucus, the 13 states in the West.

Jamie has always had the best interests of the people of District 3 at heart. He is a true public servant, and I believe he is the only Assembly candidate with the experience to hit the ground running.”

 - Sherry LaMalfa Smith.

“Over the past year and a half, I traveled across the North State listening to families, farmers, business owners, doctors, educators, and community leaders. What I heard repeatedly is that people want practical solutions, strong representation, and someone who understands the unique challenges facing rural California. I believe Jamie Johansson is the right person to carry that fight forward.

- Andrew Coolidge, Former Assembly District 3 Candidate and Mayor for the City of Chico

“Mr. Johansson, I believe, fundamentally understands the critical intersection between the necessity of preserving our agricultural heritage and its economic importance and the unstoppable pressure for urban growth. We will benefit greatly from a leader who actively supports reasonable and effective long range planning of our communities. My experience tells me that it’s far more important to lose an argument today to secure a victory tomorrow. It is my observation that Mr. Johansson will exhibit such prudence to the benefit of our community.”

- Steve Lucas, Retired Executive Officer
Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO)
